Guiseppe
⅓ cup Honey
¼ cup Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Red Pepper Flakes
3 tbsp Olive Oil (divided)
4 Salmon Fillets (6 oz each)
Salt and Black Pepper
3 clove Garlic (minced)
1 Lemon (thinly sliced)
Make the Honey Garlic Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together:
Honey
Soy sauce
Lemon juice
Red pepper flakes
Set aside.
Sear the Salmon
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
When hot, place the salmon skin-side up (presentation side down) in the pan.
Season with salt and pepper.
Cook undisturbed for 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy.
Flip and Add Flavor
Flip the salmon so it’s skin-side down.
Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and minced garlic.
Cook for 1 minute, until the garlic is fragrant.
Add Sauce and Simmer
Pour in your prepared honey-garlic sauce and scatter lemon slices in the pan.
Let the sauce simmer and reduce for 3–4 minutes, spooning it over the salmon as it thickens.
Serve and Enjoy
Once the sauce has thickened and the salmon is cooked through, remove from heat.
Serve immediately, drizzling the glaze over each fillet. Garnish with extra lemon slices or chopped parsley if desired.
