1 tbsp Butter
1/2 cup Onion (chopped)
1/2 cup Celery (chopped)
58 oz Chicken Broth
14.5 oz Vegetable Broth
1/2 lb Chicken Breast (cooked & chopped)
1 1/2 cups Egg Noodles
1 cup Carrots (sliced)
1/2 tsp Basil (dried)
1/2 tsp Oregano (dried)
Salt and Ground Black Pepper
In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add onion and celery. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until tender.
Stir in the chicken broth, vegetable broth, cooked chicken, egg noodles, carrots, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, until noodles are tender and flavors have melded.
Serve hot with crackers or crusty bread.
